Montana State University, located in the majestic town of Bozeman, is the state’s largest university. With over 16,000 students enrolled, the school recently celebrated its newest dining facility, the Rendezvous Dining Hall. The 30,000-square-foot Rendezvous Dining Hall is an all-you-can-eat facility that includes eight main serving stations. It has seating for 830 people, with half of the seating on a mezzanine level, that includes 100 seats on the outside covered deck. It is expected to serve thousands of meals per day to students, faculty, staff and community members.

The dining hall was a 62-slab job done with Corian® Quartz Mystic Black and Cloud White by Fabricators Unlimited and helped make the new dining hall space anything but standard.
“Fabricators Unlimited's stone fabrication division in Fargo, ND had to adapt to each restaurant style in their fabrication of Corian® Quartz by cutting everything from pointed and linear shaped tops to countertop spaces that were cut to be more circular and curved. When it came to installing, our Billings branch had their work cut out for them given the vast amount of square footage of quartz surface in this building tied with the hefty weight that quartz is known for,” said Alison Sund, Web Marketing/Photography, Fabricators Unlimited - Fargo, ND. “This stuff was heavy but we love a challenge! Fabricators is happy to have been involved from start to finish on this unique project and it looks like this fall season the students of MSU Bozeman will be busy enjoying all that this new space offers,” added Sund.
